What The boy really wants is an electric scooter. Daddy won't get it because I have no room to keep it and we don't live in an area suitable for riding it. Is it worth getting one and keeping it at your house? I don't know. But mabey he'g be extra excited to come over to grammy and grampy's.

Oh....They have starter child electric guitar sets at Target that he'd love too. Not very expensive either. He's always borrowing Dad's guitar, but says he wants a drum, which we are getting....but he just thinks that the drum will take less practice than the guitar. Like father, like son.

Rodge,

My youngest tuen 8 in 2 weeks and all he wants is X-Box 360 games. Problem is: 16 yr old #2 has the X-Box and doesn't like the little one playing it. I am NOT going to get him his own, but I have the same dilema: What to get him.

A tazer, huh.....Hmmmmmmm.....

I can't tell if Justin is serious, but here in Texas, I'm now of legal age to buy BB and airsoft rifles...and I do. My little brother has a gravity fed M-16 styled airsoft gun, that shoots off hundreds of rounds a minute. But yeah...He's seven, almost eight...and I'll give ya the rundown on what eight year olds like-

#1 Violent Video Games
#2 Anything CD or song with the word 'f*@k' in it. (What he likes, not what I get him :D)
#3 Bubble guns. Odd as that sound, a piece of my first paycheck went to buying one of those guns that make huge bubbles...was roughly 10 bucks...it's probly broken now, but it was loved for the week I saw him with it.
#4 Anything with a lot of pieces; He loves those matchbox racetracks which I usually have to spend an hour building. (Keep in mind however, unless the parents are freakishly strict, or the child a robot, it's only good for one play, because you'll never find the pieces again.
#5 Action figures-Yeah, not much has changed since the seventies, except you don't have an Afro now Rodge (I don't think?) Heheh...Action figures with guns...

Alright, so you can probly guess which of those I was being serious on...It really depends on how much you're willing to spend :D. Every eight year old has their own weird wants...My brother is surprisingly mature for his age, and likes a lot of the things I do...some kids however, still have that want for little kids things. If you know the kid likes videogames, try and get one of those plug and play things that looks easy...Probly wont cost more than 20 bucks. If the kids likes action figures, get some, and a 'building' for them, probly cost you 40 :-p

Or get him a shirt like you're probably thinking, just to be funny, and don't worry about it anymore.
