Plame Out

Hitchins 'flips' again
Just days after he famously flipped Hezbocomic Bill Maher's trained seals, Christopher Hitchins does the same thing to Joe Wilson, Valerie Plame, Colin Powell, and Richard Armitage. Although figuratively, his message is no less obvious - these are disgusting people.  I would love to see Plame and Wilson brought before a moot court (or even better, the real deal).  I'm certain I can make a better case for treason, and their execution, than you can in defense. I'm also oddly satisfied.  While the media were going ga-ga over Colin Powell - for the past 15 years,  he made my skin crawl.  I was right.
As most of us have long suspected, the man who told Novak about Valerie Plame was Richard Armitage, Colin Powell's deputy at the State Department and, with his boss, an assiduous underminer of the president's war policy. (His and Powell's—and George Tenet's—fingerprints are all over Bob Woodward's "insider" accounts of post-9/11 policy planning, which helps clear up another nonmystery: Woodward's revelation several months ago that he had known all along about the Wilson-Plame connection and considered it to be no big deal.) - Plame Out

Since this was a left media production, there will be no public mea culpa. The damage is done.  Click-click.

am with Hitchens powell always made my skin crawl. He opposed the operation to kick Saddam out of Kuwait yet was happy to take credit for the work and mind of Norman Swartzkoff a genius in military planning and tactics. When all Powell was in reality a cheer leader.

Then what can you say about David Cornhole who on more than one occasion has been revealed to be a liar and journalistic thug.
