Uday Retro

"Three days before the fall of Baghdad on April 9th, Uday told the leader of Iraqi television, quote, 'I think the end is near because this time I think the Americans are serious.  Bush is not like Clinton.' End quote." - Brit Hume quoting the London Telegraph, July 2003

Love Bush, but he's been worn down.

My queston is, is he just going run out his last 2 years? Or will he deal with Iran?

Or will the dems, if they take the House, waste the next 2 years with Mr. Racist, John Conyers, leading the impeachment parade?

I'm still on a gold and energy stock buying spree. Seems to me, no matter which of these 3 courses is followed, things will get worse, at least for a while.

Doing things like backing away from calling Islamo Fascist Islamo Fascists don't help his (our) cause much.

Has Bush — or the World — Changed?
About “Cowboy Diplomacy.”..

in regards to the idea Israel lost?

when you were on vacation, the pundits were all saying Israel had one week, and their efforts would be forced to end, but they were all wrong.

Podhoretz, Krauthammer, etc...

Bush did not change his tune, defending the actions of Israel, but something changed with Israel...

(just my misguided two cents again).

besides, the Beltway PUNDIT Conservatives have been far more weaker, wobbly, providing more misguided conceptions than this Administration: in the Spring of 2003 they were peeing in their pants about Kerry...

for example, about a year into the Iraq Mission, NRO suddenly became alarmist, scared, and presented this strange editorial saying 'whoops', this is going to be harder than we thought!

LOL, just fine for pundits who argued for the Iraq Operation as an 'absolute must' for over a year prior to the needed invasion. it was sophomoric, as if they did not consider the context of the difficulty involved prior.

Mr. Derbyshire actually began to endorse Hillary on the Corner, (one expected it was sarcasm), but he persisted for a few days, claiming her cold nature would be ideal to fight the GWOT! LOL, yep...

seems he forgot, she had prior used the Might of the USA to attack political opposition and Waco, not the threats around the World. in fact, days after Mr. Derbyshire's folly, Hillary announced her desire to further appease North Korea...

you simply cannot make this stuff up.

Well I would hardly describe Koresh and his nuts as political opponents. However Bush has withstood I believe the most herrendous onslaught in the history of the office. Led by the leftwing media. It would have to wear down anyone. But we shall know more about where this country is at after the coming election.
