War Eternal

Can we no longer wage war effectively?
What, asks Podhoretz, "if liberal democracies have now evolved to a point where they can no longer wage war effectively because they have achieved a level of humanitarian concern for others that dwarfs any really cold-eyed pursuit of their own national interests?" His references were to the recent outcry over civilian deaths in southern Lebanon, and the continuing insurgency in Iraq, and how that reaction compared to, say, the relative indifference over civilian deaths in World War II.  - War Eternal

yeah, Podhoretz reminds me lately of an alarmist reactionary...

so, the USA did not just kick the teeth out of Saddam, or the Taliban?

in the heart of the ARAB region, we currently have over 100,000 of our Finest, kicking tail.

years ago, studying Lincoln, and all the crap he dealt with fighting the Civil War, makes today look like a picnic actually...

just have to keep Democrats from power, force the GOP to have a backbone...

this is the big key...

and force the NYTimes, LATimes, WA Post, to go bust...

i am optimistic actually, for if Kerry were Pres., i would be prepared for the end.

I have stated this before but in every War this nation has fought it has had it's colaborators. The democrap party is the modern day version of the German Bund in WW2. For those that dont know the German Bund was an organization in the USA that supported Hitler and the Nazis. They would draw hugh crowds in NYC rallies I think on one occasion they even filled up the Garden. The comunist still to this day have a lot of supporters and a hugh organization here called the World Workers Party. They are behind a lt of the big anti war rallies and use a lot of dupes that dont even realize what they are. Many at KOS and Democratic Underground fall into this catagory. These people have always been with us but it appears the democraps have now taken them mainstream. The upcoming mid term election will tell us a lot.
