The baisis for executing Joe Wilson

... was triggered by an op-ed piece published July 6 2004 by The New York Times, where Joe Wilson said the CIA had sent him to Niger in 2002 to look into the intelligence claim, but found no substantial evidence to support the president's allegation. Wilson charged that the Bush administration "twisted" some of the intelligence "to exaggerate the Iraqi threat" and to justify an invasion of Iraq.

All of that was a lie.

All of it.

Joe Wilson deserves to be severely punished.

As do the media that knowingly supported what they knew was a fraud.

*amplified applause* for the thought.
Will it ever happen? Not until Conservatives have the juevos for actual justice - equal to the Libs abilities for deceit. Juice

Rodg,
Like nothing else about this whole mess has, your rollover gives a new perspective. Well done.

More than that, Wilson claimed that someone in the White House (read: Karl Rove) outed his wife's "secret" identity in revenge.

All of that, too, was a lie. Fitzpatrick knew all along that the leaker was Armitage, yet played along, snaring Libby (maybe, we'll see...) along the way.

That's deceit of the worst sort-- the epitome of "politics of personal destruction". Fitzgerald, too deserves to be prosecuted.

More importantly, the CIA (a paramilitary organization) treated the Office of President of the United States like it was a 1950 banana republic. This was real treason, IMO. The State Department was involved as well.

Wilson should be sent to the joint for what he has done. But the real snakes in the grass are Colin Powell and Armitage. These to sorry back stabbing CS have no integrity no honor. Powell was suppose to be the Presidents friend and his fathers friend. They trusted him he betrayed that trust. To think there were people that wanted to see this pile of crap run for President.
