As Toynbee said, we are just another in a long line of powerful nations which did not die by conquest from outside, but by suicide. The particular cup of hemlock we have chosen is political correctness spiced with lack of conviction. We are applying it regularly through the bleeding wound which liberals keep ripping the stitches out of, a wound created by the removal of our cojones by the UN and those who would make US law mirror international law.
