Maybe the most sensible minute of CBS television news in 50 years. Decide for yourself. |
scream-of-consciousness; "If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."

We urge you, after full consideration of the facts, to uphold your responsibilities as a respected member of American society and as a beneficiary of the free use of the public airwaves to cancel this factually inaccurate and deeply misguided program.

How is it inaccurate if the 9-11 Commission Report, which the Clintonoids steered and edited, was the basis for the movie?
Because Reid, Durbin, Stabenow, Schumer, and Dorgan said so.
Well, there's a bunch with credibility and intellectual heft.
We better listen to them.

Former White House anti-terror chief Richard Clarke has made a career in retirement of blaming 9/11 on George Bush, while claiming he manfully tried to hunt bin Laden down until the last second of his government service.
In the reality check department, here's what Michael Scheuer, a 22-year veteran of the CIA and head of the agency's bin Laden unit, has to say, published today in The Washington Times
:Mr. Clarke never mentions that President Bush had no chances to kill bin Laden before September 11 and leaves readers with the false impression that he, Mr. Clinton and Mr. Clinton's National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, did their best to end the bin Laden threat. That trio, in my view, abetted Al Qaeda."
Mr. Scheuer says the CIA gave Mr. Clarke and Mr. Clinton eight to ten shots at bin Laden — eight to ten times they had him in the crosshairs — and Clarke, Clinton, Berger et al never could pull the trigger.
This guy Scheuer a twenty something year veteran of our security organizations was the man in charge of hunting for Bin Laden. These are his comments about these boobs and how they fouled things up. Sorry about using so much space wanted you to see what the man in charge in the field had to say. - 9/8/06, 4:18 AM

So I settled in and actually watched the 20 minutes or so of the "news" before Rush came on. What a bunch of garbage Katie spewed out. Outright lies, calling Valerie Plame 3 times an undercover agent. 3 GDCS times!!! And Armitage, what a sack, boohooing, I swear I was going to blow chunks. And on it went. These assclowns have no shame. How in the world Rush got on is beyond me. And I loved his intro with a freeze frame of a smirk. They just could not resist.
It is scary beyond comprehehsion that millions of people watch this crap and take it as gospel. Did I see 13.6 million watched? Uneffingbelievable.

Well that one minute supposedly "balances" the other 20 minutes of bullshit maybe.
Too bad they can't just report the facts straight up, and leave the opining to opinion-based shows. - 9/8/06, 9:09 PM

I don't always agree with Rush because sometimes he is too full of himself but, in this segment he hit the nail squarely on the head. I love his kick ass and take names attitude. The left has tried for 18 years to silence him and they only make him more popular.
God Bless Rush Limbaugh!!! One of the few voices for real freedom. - 9/9/06, 9:33 AM
