None dare call it treason? I will

None dare call it treason? I will.
If I don't vent like this 4 times a year, I'll become a raving bag lady.
“I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.” - Barry Goldwater
Here's the quandary many of us are in.  We are, and always have been law abiding citizens.  But ...

... if you're one who fervently believes that we are at war with ... NO -  are in a death struggle with Islamo fascism - and I do, then old guys like me who served under Teddy Roosevelt at San Juan Hill, but are no longer deemed fit to trek around in Arab sand (a correct assumption in my case), but who desperately want to fight for our country -  then your  blood boils pretty damned quick over the likes of  Sean Penn

He,  and others like him with high public, and international profiles, who will not accept that his leftist political vision has been rejected by our nation at large, has, and is engaged in giving our enemy aid and comfort.  That's treason, and even if it isn't those actions will ultimately cost the lives of people much better than he.  Already have.

I believe there is a case to be made to try Penn and ilk for that crime, and if found guilty to impose the harshest penalty. I don't care if you're a politician, a newspaper publisher, or a dickweed entertainer, when you engage in this sort of behavior you become a clear and present danger to the well being of the United States.  If enough people believe as I do, at some point there will be a spark, and for better or worse I'll be one of the torch bearers.  So help me God.

I understand that some audiences have been applauding at the end of the movie depicting President Bush's assassination. I would never attend such filth, but if I did, and that occurred? That's an ignition point.

Rock on...

didn't Sean's boat sink in New Orleans?

his visit to Iraq produced a few more laughs...

remember when Whoopi G and her ilk in NYC, vilified the President, and Kerry called it something like the moral sentiment of the Nation?

then the Hezbocrats buried the film?

these losers must be defeated again, at the voting booth...

they lose this fall, and in 2008, they will only grow more nutty, and more insignificant...

all the while, i feel, we can push the GOP, to get the Conservative BALLS it needs...

First, you can bet your last dollar there will be a Sister Sousha moment with HRC. She'll smack down the likes of Penn-wink wink- and the creepy left will give her a one time pass.

Second, while I agree with you Rog, it just ain't gonna happen with W. I love the guy but the word that comes to mind is beleaugered when I think of him. And he isn't going to pull anymore grief down on him. Not for this, maybe for a strike against Iran, but not this. Now if we woke up one morning and everyone was looking for Reid, Penn, Murtha, Pelosi, Kerry, Moore, gee, I could go for that. Hell, I'd even help looking.

Now, Jack withstanding, as I look around the '08 R field, there is only one guy that stands out with the cajones to call out the creeps in Hollywood. And not only call them out, but DO something so they STFU. And that man is Rudy.

Gay marriage, tax rates, ANWR, Supreme Court, abortion, hey these are all great topics for debate. But if we've got Islamofascists blowing up malls, airplanes going down, nuclear Iran, etc. than none of that other crap is gonna matter.

I know it's not going to happen ...letting Jane Fonda go set the precedent. I am certain that there is just so much we are willing to take, and when the dam breaks there will be hell to pay.

I have to agree with Roger but there has to be a point that the American people get fed up a breaking point I believeit will happen though I cannot say what the catalyst willbe.

I also have to repeat my refrain Rudy as the Republican nominee puts either Hillary or Gore in the Whitehouse because the republican base a great number will be disgusted and stay home and not even bother to vote it has happened before and a Rudy as the Rep nominee will make it happen again.

Hell YEAH!!!!! Be very selective in the primaries, and very vocal. Uhm, Roger, are you in the "Screw McCain-Feingold" brigade? We need EVERY right wing blog preaching! Again, we've got to get the representatives, and the senators, and the president, sorted! And I totally agree with the clear and present danger thing. 32 years ago I swore to protect our nation against ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC! Baloon goes up, I'm there. When does it happen?

It happens in a flash moment, unplanned and unstoppable.
