Teacup handgrenade

Years of fighting Huks, Hun, and Democrats have taught me to look closely ...

Man, I haven't heard that term (Huk) in decades. When I first got to the P.I. in 1960, Hukbalahap and Hukbong were big deals, but mostly way down south in the tip of Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao because they weren't crazy about either Catholicism or having their senators elected at large, mostly from central Luzon.

Never shoulda been made into one country -- different languages, different religions, different social customs, different diets . . . no wonder they've had a civil war going on for a hundred years.
