"We thought he was David Gregory"

Mistaken identity wins release
San Diego - Charges were dropped against a  man and wife charged with attacking and severely injuring  Fox News reporter John Mattes.  [Video]  During their arraignment in California Superior Court, defendants Sam and Rosa Suleiman  explained to Judge Robert Pesky that they had mistaken Mattes for NBC reporter David Gregory. The judge agreed that there was a resemblance, and dismissed charges after theSuleimans agreed to pay Mattes' hospital expenses.

Lemmesee: We all look alike to thieving middle-easterners, therefore it is ok to beat up white caucasian males because the victim may not have been the intended party. Sounds like a helluva precedent to me.
