A little bit of fabric and you've got an attractive and useful "Riflebrella."

holy crap. i've always been afraid of that happening to one of my black powder rifles. i did have an interesting event one afternoon shooting beer cans at the local dump... i didn't seal the chambers in my black powder remington revolver very good and had a complete cross fire. there was lead flying everywhere, not to mention a cracked cylinder and a nice burn on my hand. i'm more careful these days...

We were shooting one night (.45 Bullseye), and a guy all the down the line was firing a .58 cal black powder rifle. Every time he fired the place shook. Just unbelieveable. Smoke everywhere. It gave me a real appreciation for what it was like at Antietam or Gettysburg.

I hope that I don't inadvertantly get in on that batch of ammo.

It shredded that barrel like it was cardboard.

Seen this on other sites, the guy forgot to take his laser boresight out of the barrel and fired for effect. so pretty though.

sounds like a Hawkin's, Roger. Slug as big as your thumb. kicks like a mule. a real mule, not one of those dimmycrat jackasses.

I used to shoot a .58cal, at night you could fire it into the air and it was just like a tracer round.Boazo

Don't be a wimp. Get out the hacksaw & throw it in a holster. Presto -- baddest pistol in town!
