Ignorance

Commonalities
A real problem when trying to deal with people inbred with biases, false notions, and inculcated by dogma that leaves them without ability to separate fact from falsehood, is that even the tiniest provocation can send them stampeding in the wrong direction, like cattle spooked by a thunderstorm.  It appears Muslims in Iraq share this trait with the Democrat party base.

''Iraqi Shiite residents of Baghdad's Sadr City have expressed anger on over a picture of a grinning Jesus they mistook for a Shiite holy figure that appeared in the area after a joint US-Iraqi operation.

Residents found a picture of "Buddy Jesus" from the 1999 film "Dogma" posted in the streets, accompanied by a badly photocopied pamphlet bearing a crude approximation of a US military crest and outlining a US "plan" to subjugate the neighborhood.

"That picture abuses our Imam Mahdi and his holy character, and mocks our sacred figures," said resident Abu Riyam Sunday, apparently mistaking the satirical movie still of Jesus for one of Shiite Islam's historical imams, whose images adopt a Jesus-like iconography. - Iraq Sadr City residents insulted by 'Buddy Jesus

On the other hand, I do admire people who have something they believe in so strongly that they will destroy anybody who mocks it.  What a dilemma.

Sheeesh. These guys need to get a life. Sorry but this constant pissed off attitude has got to get a body down. I'm sick of it. And I know a large part of it is plain and simple jealousy.

Sometimes I might see something, like lets say....a 911 Carrera Cabriolet 4S, I mean just for example, not that I'd jack the lucky bastard or anything like that. But it just makes me envious, maybe I'll take that commission I didn't want to or risk a little more and buy some calls or puts. What. Ever.

What it doesn't do is make me jealous and jealous enough to take to the streets with my scowl firmly and permanantly painted on my puss.
