Lift that veil

Oslo worthy
Jack Straw' says ''lift that veil''
At first blush I dismissed Jack Straw's suggestion that Britain's Muslim women lift their veil as a ''way of breaking down barriers between communities.'' Another wacky Brit thing, I thought. But, do you know what? Now I think it's so simple a thing that it's brilliant. There are two truths in life that people can use to their advantage.
  1. It is impossible to dislike someone who likes you.
  2. It is very hard not to like a woman who exposes herself. It just is.
I like it.  Anyway, it's about 100 times more worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize than anything Jimmy Carter ever dreamed of.  Muslim men can do a lot too, if they really want to foster better understanding.  Remember the Michael Keaton movie Gung-Ho? Where a Japanese company buys an American auto manufacturer?  Like Muslims, these tight-assed Japanese automatons were batting zero with their work force, until the Keaton character gets Oishi Kazihiro stinking drunk.  That's what Muzzo's should do.  Go to tittie bars, drink beer, get drunk, get lap dances.  Make Osama jokes.  Then we'll trust them. A little.

Not bloody likely, as sensible as it is.
