Limbaug- Tom Kean Jr.

Tom Kean Jr's virtual kiss of death
Limbaugh finishes Tom Keane Jr.
I don't recall Rush Limbaugh ever savaging a Republican candidate before.  He's been critical of some, but nothing close to the kiss of death he planted on New Jersey Senate candidate Tom Kean Jr. yesterday.   It started this way.

RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, I want to talk to you for just a second about Republican Senate candidate Thomas Kean, Jr. in New Jersey. This is a brave man. This is a man who deserves your attention and your support. This is a man who in the midst of the war on terror and the war in Iraq, has demanded the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld.

That's so courageous!

I was so moved when I heard this demand from this Republican. It's not many Republicans that have this kind of courage and have these guts -- and he wasn't through there! He then demanded the resignation of Speaker of the House Denny Hastert and any of the Republican leadership -- just off the top.

 This is courage!

And ended with this.

... We need Republicans in the Senate who don't care about whether Republicans run the place. We need Republicans in the Senate like Thomas Kean, Jr. who have no interest in the party or causes or issues. We need the selfish self-interest of Tom Kean, Jr -- and so today, ladies and gentlemen, I, Rush Limbaugh, officially and proudly endorse Thomas Kean, Jr. for Senate in New Jersey.

We need another Lincoln Chafee.

In between, we learn of young Tom's act of lese majesty - slapping Mr. Republican about the head. "Without being asked, folks,  [Kean] issued a statement denouncing me over "press reports" he had heard -- he had not heard me; he had heard press reports -- regarding my reaction to the Michael J. Fox ad.

Bye-bye Tom Kean Jr. What a piece of crap state New Jersey must be, judging by the people they choose to run for office.  Torricelli, Menendez, Christine Todd Whitman, Frank Lautenberg,  Kean Jr. ... . All of them either organized crime,  or organized brickheads.

Read it all here.  .. or listen here.

New Jersey's political landscape is a fetid swamp, and the average voter is dumb as a bag of rocks and is likely receiving a paycheck from the state, or is crooked as a dog's hind leg and is receiving state contract awards.

New Jersey: a political shithole.

Rodger,

Please edit your post. You added an "e" to the end of Kean's name. That goof is no relation to me or any of the good Keane's who spell our name with an "e" on the end.

Thank you and keep up the good work. Your blog is a must view daily for me. Some of the funniest and most insightful stuff on the internet.

Bill Keane
