Sanctuary on the farm

Sanctuary on the farm
I haven't watched any television news since the day after E.D. Hill left Fox and Friends.  I didn't plan that.  A lightning  storm-caused  power outage erased the television setting that turned on F&F at 6:45 every morning.  Without that wakeup, I slept longer and was happier when I did get up.  Also, when you find yourself at Sunday mass, daydreaming about giant meteors slamming into the Democratic National Convention (while Brit Hume is outside making a phone call), it's time to seek mental sanctuary.

When I slept until 9:15 one day, I knew a wake-up "alarm"  was required.  In the past I've turned to the cable channel RFD when I needed to escape ratbastards on TV, so that's what wakes me up every morning, and stays on most of the day. Here's a sample.

And I have. Watching is a great way to find the ground again.
