Crichton's last book nailed the enviros deliciously.
It's so much gasbaggery, I never pay attention.

Nobody without a vested financial interest, or who reads both sides, does either. But we saw what just happened when the utterly phony issue of stem cells was used to sell politics. Only this is much bigger. Once the notion that government's obligation is to control the environment, any vestige of private property, for one thing, is gone. No Private Property=No Democracy=No Freedom. Which is why all the old East Euro commies made the switch from red to green so effortlessly, so joyously.

Where did DHMO come from?
" Research conducted by award-winning U.S. scientist Nathan Zohner concluded that roughly 86 percent of the population supports a ban on dihydrogen monoxide."
Interesting, since I'll warrant that not 3 in a thousand have even heard of it. Anyway, on the few occasions I've used it, it's worked. Sometimes that's all I care about. - 11/19/06, 10:07 AM
