MM commented below that "Kerry and Edwards were perfect for each other. My surprise was that they only lost by 4M votes." Of course InstaPundit (above) is referring to Newsweek's Evan Thomas boasting that the media wanted Kerry to win so much that their balls-out support would be worth 15%.  I think they delivered with a surplus.  Without the media,  Kerry would have lost in Mondale proportions, and Donks would have lost so many congressional seats that it would be years before they could hope to regain control. It's difficult to say what the situation in Iraq would be today, but the media barrage of negativity, and anti American rhetoric certainly poisoned a lot of minds. In my low periods I would be happy to see several hundred of them put before a wall and shot.  I'm in that trough right now, matter of fact.  Where's my Prozac? Where's my rocket launcher.

My contention since the late 70s maybe 1980 or so, the number 1 problem in our country is the MSM.

If we could even just have bias plus bias, have our side given a equal presentation. What the MSM is doing with the Iraqi front on the GWOT is sickeneing.

Go to Flopping Aces and read how the "journalists" are embedded in the Green Zone and use Iraqi stringers for their news. And strangely enough, it's always just a few different guys. Telling the worst and it's usually lies.

For example, everybody saw the story about the 6 Iraqis pulled from their mosque and burned alive. Ohhh splash that all over the MSM. Well guess effing what? It was bullshit and I didn't see that reported at all.

It kills me to see the hub-bub over Fox News and it's
paltry 2M viewers when the alphabets get about 30M nightly. The real reason is they hate the thought of ANY other voice but theirs. Which is why the libs pile on Fox. And hate talk radio.

I swear I would fall out of my seat if I ever saw anything like Flopping Aces report in my paper or on the alphabets.

There is also no escaping the fact that the media has American blood on there hands.The blood of American military personel. When there is another attack in the US and thousands die they will avoid any responsibility. The networks and there reporters are plain anti American crap. But they will sneer and yell blame the messenger. It is getting to the point I think they really should shoot the messenger. If there was any justice in the world the ragheads would hit the NY Times.
