Gannet scumfuks

They's everwhere; They's everwhere
Wow, tough week, huh?  The Democrats in Iraq want Rummy and Bush out of there.  The Democrats at Home want him gone. And when the ARMY TIMES followed suit in an editorial, I mean, wtf?  There's one small matter about the Military Times though. It's published by al-Jazeera (Gannet- Helen Thomas' employer).

The Army Times, which as you noted is published by the same folks that publish USA Today, is slightly to the left of Tass.  RCP - The Military Times Editorial

My gawd, the bastards are everywhere. Feedback like this is typical.

''From my perspective, the Army Times editorial page is pro-democrat positions and does not reflect the attitude of most troops. I look at the Times for articles about pay, benefits and unit info, not the drivel in the editorial page.''

Here's another example about what the folks most impacted by Rummy feel about things back home.

I was in the Navy 20 years and did not know the Military Times papers had an editorial page!

Not only is Pelosi missing, so is the author of this Military Times editorial.

I was in the service too and I never even thought about reading the (Army, Navy etc.) Times. When I got back to a non-combat base I saw the paper in PXs and a few vending machines but just assumed it was another Army Wives mag. I don't know of a single guy who read it.

My friends and I read Navy Times for the retirements and the obituaries; gave us an idea of when we could expect to be promoted. The rest of it was useful as fish wrapping, but that's about it.

I would read the Army Times when I could get my hands on a copy when I was in Vietnam whick was not that often. But Like the guy above when I was in the states I would just glance at it to get the latest news on pay seperate rations, quarters allowance also longitivity.

The Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and I imagine the Air Force Times are all published by Gannet, and I always wondered who the fuck wrote that shit. Before the WWW, it was where you found the new pay charts. They just might go out of business after this.
