Juice at the Wagon Wheel

WTF? Isn't there anyone out there in Vegas who wants 4 tickets the Caesar's Palace Comdey Show? You have 45 minutes to speak up.
Our own Joyce (Juice, aka Juicy) is shown here, on stage at the old Harvey's Wagon Wheel in 1979.  She was only 14 at the time, and used the money to put herself through Stanford.   (Archive photo)

This week one year ago found us in Vegas only because our daughter had a TDY at Nellis. Other than that...can't stand the place. Even for free stays, food and shows. Icky.
But thanks for the offer. ;) Juice

Hey, if you google Harvey's Wagon Wheel you'll see what it looked like when I worked there (before it was blown up by a really big bomb in 1980). Anyways, never a gambler, but too familar with the environment. Juice

How bizarre! I was having a conversation with a friend who worked there when the place blew up. Is this the place where they put a bomb in a room and ask for money,a helicopter ,and never showed to collect? They tryed to defuse the bomb and it went off.Boazo

Yes. Boazo. Actually, the bomb was in a box container placed in the lobbey, as I recall. If moved it would've resulted in a BOOM.
It was sad for us as we watched the news. I always held my own theory on that one. but whatever. What dept was your friend?

There's a history channel show on blowing up the Wagon Wheel. Extremely technical bomb about the size of a large copier delivered to the server room by a commercial delivery service.
