Look closely at the area right under the end of his bead necklace--you can see the beam he's sitting on right there.

Re the stresses, it looks like that bamboo could be concealing a 1" bar. Mild steel might be at some risk of bending, but it seems quite doable, provided there's a solid through-weld at the base.

Figure he's 180 lbs and his center of mass is about 15" from the upright post. That's 225 ft-lbs of torque. I'm not a structural engineer, but from what I recall of this stuff, that seems within the range of what a 1" diameter steel bar could handle.

I blew it up and can see what appears to be a rigid horizontal frame ... ROLLOVER

The question now is did he get up there in the dead of night to avoid detection? How does he get down? If I was there I'd wait him out.

Steel is really, really strong. More than most people imagine. A 1" diameter, 1/8" thick wall tube could do that. The harder part is the joints at the base and whatever frame he's sitting on. A good weld to the base will do, but I'd love to see how his seat is attached to the vertical post, cantilevered out like that. That's a very high stress point. Of course, there are even stronger metals, but they are expensive.
