Virginia concealed carry

Liberal Gun Monkeys
If the Washington Post was a zoo, this [More Limits Sought On Civilians' Guns]  is where we watch monkeys masturbate.

State law bans weapons in courthouses. But the absence of any prohibition on weapons inside police stations or jails places officers at risk, county officials say. At the request of Fairfax County Police Chief David M. Rohrer, the Board of Supervisors has included a ban in a draft of its legislative program for the 2007 Virginia General Assembly.Michael W. Kennedy, a mentally ill 18-year-old, drove to the rear parking lot of the station and fired more than 70 shots with an assault rifle and other weapons. Detective Vicky O. Armel, 40, died that day, along with Kennedy. Officer Michael E. Garbarino, 53, died of his wounds nine days later.

Okay, this is a tragedy for all concerned.  That said, this response is as lame as Bill Clinton's anti-gun law binge in response to Tim McVeigh's fertilizer bomb.  It's an excuse.

If we can just get guns outlawed everywhere THEN the law can be passed making murder by gunshot a misdemeaner. After all, with laws on the books banning guns, what do you figure the chances of criminals getting them are???.....Simple isn't it?...As simple as the logic processing areas of the brains of the Liberal Assholes dreaming up this shit.

I am sure the shooter would have obeyed the new law. These morons will just never get it. They can never ban guns in this country. ! It violates the second amendment no matter what the anti gun nuts say. People will find a way to get there guns to protect there families. I have heard plenty of federal police officers discussing going house to house and colecting peoples guns and they say they would never attempt it. They know there life expectancy would not be very long at all.

The reason guns can never be completely banned is both technical and human: the revolver design is more than 150 years old (the Walker Colt was used by Texas Rangers before the Civil War) and the Browning design automatics are over a century old. Any competent machinist can build a revolver or automatic from readily available designs. Dishonest people will always go where the profits are. So are we to have SWAT raids searching for unlicensed machine lathes? Will there be a 15 day waiting period for bar stock suitable for gun barrels? The only effect from a full-out gun ban would be for the price of illegal guns to soar, and also the crime rate as criminals stole more to finance their illicit purchases.

I am all for this law; just as soon as they can guarantee that 17 years old psychopaths will obey it.
