That's the sign of a leader, he's keeping watch.

Bollocks to that! One shot is all you need and there are about a dozen less rats of the air to worry about.

Damn you El Jefe - I love pidgins! As an aside, would that be a broad side with a 12 gage or a linear shot with a .223?

It's a little-known fact that only three pigeons in ten can read. In this case, the sign that says, "Don't poop on the lawn."

You have to get as many as possible with the first round, unless you have a silencer. I have found that flying rats, as depicted, aren't anywhere near as stupid as magpies. Shoot a flying rat, the rest of 'em take off for the next county. Shoot a magpie, kill it, and wait for the rest to return for a quick lunch. Im my experience, this can be repeated at least 6 times.

Well, my out-law father in Blighty uses 'bangers' to scare off the air rats but they always return.

I used to watch a very old man trap pidgeons when I was a kid.I asked him what did he want them for and he said "to eat".It was WWII and everything was rationed and this man probably came throughh some hard times including the Depression. I feel he was doing a favor for mankind.

Nothing wrong with eating the bastards. They get expensive when they call them 'squabs' though....
