2007 Auto Show

Four 2007 Detroit Auto Show items that caught my attention

  1. Mazda Ryuga
    Love the easy access
  2. Jeep Trailhawk
    Add a .50 Cal and you're ready
  3. Chevy Camaro
    But, how much muscle?

How do you crawl out of that Mazda if you
flip it upside down...Ernie had a few
pretty good whoop ass pics of a similar
Mercedes toasted upside down...

the toys get better...

even as the names remain the same.

will they be making a camaro in 50 years?

The Tomahawk isn't going to be there. I went to the Detroit Auto Show last year and searched the Dodge exhibit for it. When I didn't find it, I asked and was told that it was old (2005) and that the show was for new stuff. I said, "Well, that's a pity. The Tomahawk is still by far the coolest thing you guys have." I must be jaded because the show bored me. I was more impressed with some of the displays than the cars in them. None of the concept cars particularly wowed me. It was just a collection of shiny new cars just slightly newer than the shiny new cars I see on the roads every day. Plus nobody had any swag to give away, not even keychains. I won't be going this year.

The Auto-Rama on the other hand was incredible. It is a custom and hotrod show. Every car you have ever lusted after was there plus plenty of new loves.
