This is our local meteorologist,
James Spann. He is a hometown favorite. James is known for his little tuft of
hair on his head! HA. When we have storms with tornadoes he stays on the TV
for hours guiding people. His suspenders come undone, his shirt hangs out, and
he explains in detail where tornadoes are about to land based on landmarks. “It
is going to hit right by that little school that they closed years ago, and it
right past that 2nd bridge that the Jones family built in 1918, etc.”
Anyhow, loved his stance against the almighty WEATHER channel. He is going to
be on a few national shows based on his statements.

"James, the only reason to watch TWC
(The Weather Channel) is to see if Jim Cantore will finally get taken out by a
sheet of wind-borne corrugated metal. Count me as a scientist who believes that
global warming is caused by hot air in Congress and overheated printing presses
at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing."
"Last weekend was so warm here and
people tried to explain that based on global warning," he said. "There's just
nothing to that. It was warm because of the weather pattern."
