House to unveil Iraq withdrawal bill By Jeremy Jacobs Congressional Progressive Caucus  (CPUSA) chairwomen Lynn Woolsey (D-Calif.) and Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) and Out of Iraq Caucus Chairwoman Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) will tout their legislation tomorrow calling for a withdrawal of U.S. forces in Iraq within six months. The House lawmakers are scheduled to hold a press conference on their new bill, which would prohibit permanent military bases in Iraq and provide economic aid for the Iraqi government. The legislation would fully fund the withdrawal of troops and military contractors. Not one of these people stand a chance of being invited to my Fourth of July pig roast.  Not one. Of course this is all grandstanding.  Even if it went to a vote, and passed, it would mean nothing.  The real damage is done because, face it, we're dealing with this sort of mentality (aka - as sophisticated as dog poop) in the Middle East. When Muslimo mutton chops read that the party in power is about to legislate a withdrawal, and yell ''Uncle," we've lost again in the propaganda war.  That means US troops will die.  I run this blog to make me feel good, and saying "God  do I hate those futhermucking democrats," makes me feel good just now.
