Mexican Incursions

Border Blur
I received this report from Sgt. Colonel of Special Barn Recon Unit 362 DougM  that will pretty much answer the County Attorney's questions.  Wouldn't you expect this story to have been bannered on the front page of every newspaper in the country?

Here’s video of the news report: National Guard unit stormed while patrolling the border
Here’s more video: Border attack raises security concerns [Huh. Ya think?!]

(Note: The links provided in the article don't work, but these should take you to the Channel 12 News site that has them).

In this second video clip, a spokesman from Governor Lopez’s office admits that the NG troops have protocols in place in the event of an attack and they are under orders to “call for back up and retreat”. That’s great. Heaven forbid we put troops on the border to actually protect the border. That would make too much sense and be entirely too effective.

One answer for refusing to engage may lie in the lessons learned from the way we treat border agents who try to enforce the law.  I continue to believe that this problem is the nation's best hope, however.  It has the potential to arouse enough Americans that local militias will begin to do what our elected government won't, and that might include replacing those elected government.  Harsh?  Yup.

If you've ever been to The Alamo in San Antonio and visited the souvenir shop, you would remember the small scale replica of the fort being over run by the Mexican Army, that really brings to focus what occurred there. Think in those terms of America with illegals, and..."Remember the Alamo." There's a reason for those words.

Now, picture our NG in skirts with flower wreaths upon their heads. There is no intention here, whatsoever, to protect our borders. It's all just a political shell game. Whenever liberals are *helping* us, I try to remember they are the antonyms of thought process. Whatever is reasonable and justified, they do the opposite. And it chills me to the soul.
