I'm watching two teams I don't like - the Giants and the Eagles. The two announcers will, I'm sure, break into tears if the Giants lose. They should be fired. What a disgrace. |

so true...
being a JET fan i can be somewhat objective, Buck and the former Cowboy QB were terrible.
Mr. Buck Jr. seems to think Tiki Barber is the only Giant on the Team. As if he plays on defense, special teams, and coaches as well. Some garbage about "willing" the Giants into the playoffs all by himself. - 1/7/07, 8:22 PM

JB Jr. is what John Madden would sound like if he had the ability to annunciate clearly.
Speaking of which, why doesn't the league insist that the networks stop hiring ex-players for booth positions who sound like they have a jock strap caught between their teeth? - 1/7/07, 10:08 PM

I am a fan of neither team but Barber is a class guy and I guess it kind of sucks ending your career in this losing effort. I do not think the younger Eli manning has the maturity of Peyton it shows even in his interviews. Having said that he will I believe devolope into a top QB before he is done. As for Romo at Dallas he will be back next season and I hope they have enough brains to put someone else holding for the kicker. I think he should be concentrating on being a QB and I believe he will keep getting better and better. I do have to say I am pleased as you can be with Vince Young The Titans got a winner there.

I agree on Barber. He is a regular on Fox and Friends, very erudite, with charisma oozing out of every pore. Tiki will not want for a job now that he's retired from the NFL.
