WASHINGTON -- Senate Democrats want to take away Attorney General Janet Reno's power to replace U.S. attorneys who fall out of favor and return that authority to federal district judges.

Didn't Clinton fire every U.S. Attorney, all 300+, and replace them with his picks? Seems I remember the MSM referring to this as SOP even though it had never been done before.

In Feb.-March 1993 Janet Reno fired all 93 US Attnys.. Clinton ordered it so he had better control of the Injustice Dept..
