Jesus' tomb found

Hitler Channel Hoaxes
I spend 90% of my nighttime television viewing watching various Hitler Channels.   I'm currently captivated by the incredibly life-like reenactments of great dogfights.  There are similar series on great sea and land battles too.  There's lots to be enthralled by.  There's lots to be leery of too.

One of the bad ideas is the "historical detective" documentaries that claim to solve 5000 year old crimes, and some such. It's all crap. I've commented several times about what seems to me to be a concerted effort to undermine Christianity, and  historical sleuthing is the weapon.

There are a lot of reasons why the left feels threatened by Christianity, many of them cultural, and this  war will continue for some time, that's certain.  Now I see that Hollywood boy
James Cameron  has discovered the tomb of Jesus Christ and his family. I don't know if this is scheduled to run on cable, but it nicely dovetails with the DaVinci Code assault, which itself is a replay of ancient attempts to rewrite the gospel.  I'm going to close my eyes here for a moment to see if I can get some divine instruction.

*12 minutes*

I did.  "Smite the fuckers."

Wow.  Okay.

Hey, they have statistics and DNA. Sure, it couldn't put OJ in jail but Jesus doesn't have Johnny Cochrane.

I have to admit I watch way too much HC. But if you watch knowing it relates to actual History the way Mr. Peabody and his boy Sherman do it's palatable.

Can't wait until they start airing their fractured fairey tales on Allah, Mohammed, and the Qouran! Still won't make up for the way they dipicted the Marines as inept nimrods in Fallujah.

"ancient attempts to rewrite the gospel"

No, no, no. This is good. There's no such thing as bad publicity.

But I do raise a point of order. Does this mean we get to riot and burn down mosques and stuff? Just wonderin'.

I can't wait. This is going to be as good as Geraldo finding only empty beer bottles and dirt in Al Capone's Vault...

Cameron's skit will be on the Disco channel Sunday March 4th, 9ET. They should send in the MythBusters afterwords.

While watching the news about this "amazing discovery", a few things popped up. Number 1, where are they going to get DNA to compare with these. Jesus didn't leave an heir as far as we know. Number 2, they mentioned getting DNA from the other bodies there, that'd just show they're members of the same family. Number 3, this tomb is supposedly quite a distance from the Church of the Holy Seplechur. How'd he get there? Number 4, there's already a bunch of people saying Jesus was a common name back then.

Maybe there's a mission for the BUFF, taking out James Cameron's compound just for being an incredibly rich asshat.

Jose? Is he the one that never made the majors? I'm surprised they didn't find Matty and Felipe too!

Smite them, smite them hip and thigh I say!
