Jokers and such

Cartoon Characters Driving the News

In Maryland, a woman who has evidently been posing as a Motor Vehicle Administration employee for months was arrested.  50-year-old Kimberley Barnes would simply walk behind a counter in various DMV offices and set up shop.  She took the money from people registering cars, etc., and kept it.  In addition she took cash from at least 20 people after offering to expunge their driving record for $150, or so.  Authorities have no idea whether she was able to follow through, or even how long she was running the scam.
