Have you seen the site A Gathering Of Eagle's It is a site and organization dedicated to protecting the Vietnam and Korean Memorials on March 17th from the anti war bums that are going to start there march there. Veterans and there supporters will be gethering there to stop these bums from spray painting them. If the good lord is willing I will be there with my cain.I would love to see a couple million Americans there standing up for the Vets and our country. - 2/11/07, 5:16 AM

Great jokes, thanks. :)
Also, thanks for your woot link. I learned something today while checking it out. Since we're driving to FL next month, I wanted to check out purchasing a GPS navigation system and woot had a tom tom that stated, "not one of those w/virus." So, I googled... http://www.rin.org.uk/pooled/articles/BF_NEWSART/view.asp?Q=BF_NEWSART_232004
Who'd a thunk? Back to the drawing board, I guess. Got any ideas of a brand that's effective for locating diesel, rest stops, food, lodging,etc...We have AAA, but that's pretty limited to who they sponsor. Thanks - 2/11/07, 5:39 AM

Juice, don't have one myself, but the factory installed systems I've seen are very good. I've heard that a lot of the aftermarket products that look reasonably priced require additional purchase of the software. Virus are a condition of life today I reckon. I blame the Russians, Chinese, and democrats for most of them.

Juice, we've had a Magellan Roadmate 300 for a couple of years and have been really pleased with it.
My hubby got interested in geo-caching so I gave him a Magellan explorist for Christmas- we've not been so pleased with it. For handhelds Garmin is supposed to be the best.

I LOVE Rodger's blog, for himself of course, but also for all ya alls.
Yes, TIM. We're heading for St. Augustine on an exploratory run. If you still want to offer us info, Rodger may, if he would, give you my email. Thanks :) - 2/11/07, 1:09 PM

TFV, Thanks! The Magellan is one we had been referred to also. We'll check some reviews and places to shop. You're the best. Thanks, Juice

We got ours at Costco- they were running their coupon on it - of course I think the prices have come down or they've gotten alot nicer since we got ours.
