Thirty-nine hours

This LindaSOG post was a head slapper for me, since I'd forgotten it completely. I was on New York Avenue on my way to Route 50 when this news came over WTOP radio. My boss had the B'nai B'rith account, and I remember wondering if he was a hostage.  Later I'd wish he had been, because he was a lying prick.  They shattered a glass panel in the door and then took everyone downstairs, she said. "When I entered the second floor, there were bodies on top of bodies. I thought everyone was dead," she said. One of the captors told them that "if anyone does anything wrong, he'll cut their head and throw it out of the window," she recalled.
