General Hankey

General Hankey Faces Mutiny

General Hankey Pelosi
"AFTER WEEKS OF internal strife, House Democrats have brought forth their proposal for forcing President Bush to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq by 2008. The plan is an unruly mess: bad public policy, bad precedent and bad politics. If the legislation passes, Bush says he'll veto it, as well he should."
That editorial opening from "Do we really need a Gen. Pelosi?" was printed in ....
  1. The Wall Street Journal?
  2. The Washington Times?
  3. The Los Angeles Times?
That's right, The Los Angeles Times. Don't get too excited, the Times' alternatives include "cut the final checks in six months or so to give Bush time to manage the withdrawal. Or lawmakers could, as some Senate Democrats are proposing, revoke the authority that Congress gave Bush in 2002 to use force against Iraq."

Still, this division amongst the democrat camp (yes, the LA Times is a card carrying member) does not auger well for Speaker Hankey and her pack of rabid dogs.  I'm encouraged.

Just thinking - rabies is a fatal disease. How long can they last without treatment? Could be a silver lining in this cloud.

How long before the grownups in the Democrat Party replace her?
(What? What's so funny?)

First you'd need to find a grown up.
