An ass whooping would've been warranted on receipt or viewing of that commercial.

So...
Was that John Dean's first job?

That's Willard Scott. I'm not kidding.

I remember him before he was a weatherman, when he and Ed Walker were the "Joy Boys" on radio in DC. That was before folks like Howard Stern came along.

And that's Ed Walker doing the voice over.
He still has a show on WAMU 88.5 FM in the DC area. I listened to a dramatization of "The Fall of the House of Usher" on his show last night. I think it runs from something like 7-10pm Sunday night. A lot of old radio dramas. I listened to most of Deborah Kerr in a one hour "Jane Eyre" from (?) 1945 before I had to quite the radio machine.

Now I remember why experimenting with drugs didn't seem like such a big deal.
