Cluster Fuck on the Mall

"This is supposed to be funny," he said

Somebody commented in my Easter Egg Hunt parody video something about 'cluster bomb hunt,' and I had no idea what it meant.  Now I do, thanks to Inspector Jack.

The Family-Friendly Easter Bomb Hunt
Near the White House, Activists Lacing the Fun With a Political Message

Seven-year-old Alvin Mitchell worked intently yesterday on what looked to be a blue balloon wrapped around a tennis ball. It was a a cluster bomb, and the real thing.  He giggled, it can "blow you up and kill you."

The bombs Alvin and a dozen other children were making at a peace workshop will be put to use Monday in Lafayette Square. As hundreds attend the White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn, a smaller group will gather at the park on the north side for what is being billed as a "family-friendly Easter cluster-bomb hunt."

It used to be that an Easter egg hunt was just an Easter egg hunt. It had no message beyond cute kids playing with colored eggs. Now the venerable White House Easter Egg Roll, which dates to the 1870s, has become an occasion for at least two groups to make a statement that is as much about politics as it is about the spring holiday.

"Obviously, we're trying to spoof a little bit what will be happening on the South Lawn," said Brian Hennessey of the Vineeta Foundation, a local human rights group founded in 1995 that is the lead sponsor of the cluster-bomb hunt.

"We're not trying to hit kids over the head with this; we want them to have fun. We also want to bring attention to the fact that our munitions cause a lot of death and destruction to civilians, especially children, so it's only fair that some of American kids meet the same fate.  Especially the children of this Administration who are the greatest murderers in all history.

Hennessey seemed little concerned that Alvin Mitchell and the other children who are making his booby traps will get hurt themselves, and with good reason.  "We borrowed them from the Washington Children's Hospital  They all have cancer and will die anyway.  At least this way their worthless little lives will have some meaning."

Hennessey acknowledged that the cluster-bomb hunt invites criticism from some areas. He said he has reported "threats of violence," found on a right-wing Web site, to the U.S. Park Police.

"This is supposed to be funny," he said about the hunt. "We're not trying to be confrontational. We're not going to be in anyone's face. People are welcome to reject what we say or think about it."

[continued]

I altered some of the text and pictures without changing very much of the overall thrust.  Either way, these people are unfit parents and should be charged with child abuse.

Let's also have the kiddies find which of the kids in burkhas are wearing bomb belts, which of the swarthy men present have large knives in their shirts, which large soup can is actually an Iranian-made shaped charge and just to be fair, let's find the French manufactured plastic land mines that stay armed forever.

What a dirtbag. He should first be beaten and then charged with child abuse. He's no better than the imams in the hate madrassas.

The Headmistress had it posted on her site the other day which is why I dropped the satirical comment on your "bunny w/ hatchet" post. Yet another group of lib-tard ass-clowns that qualify to swing on the end of my rope.

I said the same thing to Rodger just as bad has the hate cult.

Well, what else could we really expect? In Israel, the Palis have their kids play w/ pretend bomb-vests. In Washington, the Demos play w/ fake grenades. They're all one and the same.

"Death to Amerikkka! Death to the Great Satan!"

Rodger's brilliant grenade and "inscription" sets this post apart from others.
Lt.Col.Gen. Tailgunner dick summed it up, alright. Liberals operate in total extremes. Completely over the top in order to get the "attention" they so desperately seek on a minute-to-minute basis.

(I think I'll have a puppy lick my face now).
