You know what? That is an interpretation of what it's like to be a homeowner.
The end of the ride... Who knows what's next? No one! Talk and guesses. But honestly, Rodger, I don't know how young people afford it these days. Everyone has to work,work,work. Who cares for the family and home that is so precious a price? It sure seems out of whack to me. No, I'm no economist, but, at today's prices, I doubt we would ever have owned (rented from the bank) our own.
I look around and see young kids buying $500,000 first homes and say WTF? No wonder the kids coming to our door want $50 to mow the lawn (fat chance).
