A listener sent Pittsburgh radio host
Jim Quinn an e-mail about
Rep. Jason Altmire's
(D PA) visit to a 4th District elementary school. Altmire was one
of about 20 Democrats who beat mainly RINO Republicans (Melissa Hart in
his case) last Fall by taking a stance to the right of their opponents
on every issue. Altmire was evidently expounding on the horrors
of Global Warming when one bright little 2nd grader asked him, "Didn't
you arrive here in a limousine?" In fact he had, but answered
"No, I did not arrive here in a limo." Jim's listener, probably a
teacher, said it was hilarious to watch Altmire's staff scramble to
make things right. The limo was driven away, and a short time
later replaced with a Jeep. When Altmire left he was confused as
aides tried to stuff him into the unfamiliar car instead of the
limo he expected.
Democrats would be so much fun if the media would only take advantage of the myriad stories like this that are available.
