 In 1944 Hitler ordered formation of an Aryan version of ''The Marx Bros'' in an effort to lift German spirits. This archive picture shows a casting call for "Die Drei Scheißeköpfe". Problem was, by the time the group premiered in Berlin, in February 1945, nobody in Germany was laughing - at anything. Hitler had them shot. |
