Padilla and OJ

OJ Jurors, Inc.

In the tradition of OJ, Dirty Bomber Jose Padilla's jury will be peppered with the ignorant, the stupid, and the radical.

A significant number of potential jurors in the Jose Padilla terrorism support case say they aren't sure who is responsible for the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks, many because they don't trust the news media or U.S. government pronouncements.

"There are too many ifs, too many things going on," one male juror said. "I don't know the whole story."

Others say they just don't pay close enough attention to world events to be certain.

"I'm oblivious to that stuff," one prospective female juror said during questioning this week. "I don't watch the news much. I try to avoid it." Power of Media: Many Potential Padilla Jurors Unsure Who Caused 9-11

Padilla's attorneys are weeding out potential jurors with strong ideas about who was responsible for 9-11.  God forgive me, but I'm not sure large portions of our population are worth defending from terrorists who want to kill them.  Here's more insanity.

The police who fired rubber bullets at May Day rioters  in MacArthur park are being scrutinized for violating civil rights of  illegal-freaking-alien rioters .  If you were born after 1970, whatever your thoughts are about any of today's nonsense will mirror exactly the mood of the nation during that Vietnam era of craziness.  It will help you understand why so many people thought the Ohio National Guard not only acted correctly at Kent State, but want more of it.

Some hospitals, once upon a time, had an emergency call (designated by a number announcement over the PA)which required all available male personel to come immediately to the announced location of trouble.Usually this was an individual either harming someone or at least threatening someone. The rapid appearance of such an overwhelming force would cause an unbelievable change of attitude in the perpetrator, and security could then easily take charge of the culprit.....I believe that the rapid deployment of superior numbers of enforcers is necessary and vital to quell the outbreak of more serious disorder, when the peace is threatened by the beginning rumblings of violence. The LAPD did exactly what was required to gain and keep control,as soon as order was threatened by the 'youths'which were beginning to test the resolve of the police.Had they NOT instituted the use of overwhelming force at the outset, these people would have taken it as a sign of weakness of authority and a sign of their strength and the ensuing escalation would have led to MANY injuries, the probable use of LIVE ammunition, and likely deaths.....Sound alarmist..No,it's not at all. It's simply that a mob will react in just that manner as the excitement swells and boldness of action sets in.The police have to step down, and step down hard right away to avert a massive civil disaster...I don't doubt however that before it's over the LAPD will catch HELL from many quarters,of course including the MSM and probably City Hall.More of the SOS.

Another great example of piss poor threat response. The police with rubber bullets should have been at Kent State and the Guard with loaded weapons should have been at MacArthur Park. College students and hippie cowards vs.MS-13, Bloods, and ILLEGAL ALIENS, all packing.

The next time LAPD responds it better be with SWAT and plenty of ammo. You's think LAPD would have learned their lesson after the big shootout at the bank.

It could not be stated any better than above by Mr.JMcD. There were more cops injured than rioters. I believe they will be vindicated. I know that Chief has shot his wad with the force and he might as well move on they will never trust or respect him again.

it really is pathetic...

a juror's spoiled ignorance is no excuse, and they better get it right, considering this is regarding 9-11.

and being in the middle of the LA Riots long ago, after the Rodney King trials, i can only imagine the LA Police have learned something, thus responded appropriately.

I'll hazard a guess regarding the Kent State riot.Kent Ohio is a small town and was,I'll guess around 25,000 back then and Kent State might have bee around 5,000 on that campus(one of 8).I don't know what the ratio of population to policemen is but I'll guess that the city of Kent had,say,25 to 50 cops. There is NO way the local police department was going to be able to quell an on campus riot, considering the types of violence going on back in those days, without outside force, namely the ONG....On the other hand Los Angeles has a very large police force and joined by the sheriff's department and I would think, that if necessary the CHP,would mount up to a pretty large force. This number of law enforcement personel can undertake some rather large assignments before requiring the calling out of the National Guard.I personally feel that the local police should do all in their power to remedy and control the situation without calling out the Guard if at all possible as it is bad PR if nothing else to have an army appear on an American cities streets.Let me be quick to add that I would have NO compunction about using the Guard or the US Army if necessary to bring order, but I just think it's better to NOT have to use military force if it can be avoided. It is, I believe just more ammunition for the Marxist bastards to use in their accusation of the authorities as being Fascist.I know it's a hard call to make, as to what force to use,and I'm happy to not be called on to make it.

Points well taken Jack and JMcD. I learned two things from this event, MacArthur Park is in LA not SanFrisco, and is enemy territory, not a park. Somebody, LAPD, CHiPs, Guard, Army & Marines is going to either take it back or make it a DMZ.

MacArthur Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh, no!
