A FACT |
The instant George Bush signs the Immigration Bill he is arrogantly trying to resurrect, every illegal
alien in the nation, some 11 million of them, attain legal residency. No fines. No lines. Nada.
All the fines and other hurdles that are being debated, to mollify citizens against this sell-out, would come into play only if those now legal residents want citizenship. With those impediments, why would they? |

who said the bill would be passed as is?
and doesn't the bill as it stands, force the illegal to register?
meaning for the first time they have to come out of the shadows?
most likely they won't even register, pay the 5 grand, and return home for awhile...
right now the law doesn't work, as the ACLU and Illegals can fight the deportation, which forces the US Gov. to shy from acting.
something clearly needs to be done... - 6/12/07, 9:47 AM

Yes HNAV, but passing this legislation won't make it happen. I'm convinced that this is a ruse on dubyah's part to tar anyone who'd support this bill for the next election cycle. Why else wait until the end of his administration to do it? Why be for it when his base is against it? I don't think that he's a boob. - 6/12/07, 10:01 AM

First, the bill would be this bill. Why? Because both sides have loaded it with obscene amounts of pork. That's the inducement. And it's this bill Bush is working with Kennedy to get passed. 80% of Americans hate the idea of amnesty in any form, and that's why the measure died. But Bush, as arrogant as any mofkn liberal has ever been, sees it's defeat as a "procedural" problem. It's crap like this that make him a viable candidate for, as Newt puts it, the "Republican Jimmy Carter." Hell, just helping Arlo Sphincter defeat an honest conservative put him half-way there.

Why do we need a 500 page bill (which it will become soon) when it can be boiled down to these few words:
1. HEAVILY fine anyone who hires an illegal, taking away their business if need be.
Result? The illegals deport themselves. Problem solved.
Oh, wait....that law's already ON THE BOOKS!!! Silly me.

It is a sad state of affairs when the President fails the nation as this man is doing in regard to this invasion he is violating his constitutional duty. They can keep there goat smelling asses in the shadows. The states like Ga. PA and 22 others are leading the way by passing state laws that make these invaders self deport. They are leaving GA. in droves.
