Hijacked religion

Maybe we hid it and forgot where?

Hijacked Religion

"Somehow, somewhere along the way, faith stopped being used to bring us together and started being used to drive us apart. It got hijacked," the Democratic presidential candidate said in remarks prepared for delivery before the national meeting of the United Church of Christ.

"Part of it's because of the so-called leaders of the Christian Right, who've been all too eager to exploit what divides us," ...B. Hussein Obama

B. Hussein Obama says religion has been hijacked by the right.  What in hell does that mean?  What did we do with it?  Is it stashed in a New Jersey warehouse?  What do we do with it now?

In the early days of B. Hussein's 18 month experience in government the code "well spoken" was often tucked into the paean of the day.  Code for, "He's  black but doesn't use Al Sharpton's blend of  Marxist Ebonics , or Jesse Jacksons hip-hop  rhymey-tune patois.  He's VIABLE.  Wheeeee.

So what, he thinks and sounds like them, full of nonsensical drivel.

For a Democrat, any Democrat, to whine about the disappearance of religion as a useful community tool is both preposterous and  laughable. Here, I teamed former  GA Governor and United States Senator Zell Miller (D).with Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) to help me make the point.  Religion is out there in the open Obama, as much as y'all liberals will allow, but most any religion's tenets you care to name - not just Christianity - are incompatible with the tenets of your politics.

It's just a little something he learned as a child while being educated at the Mosque. But hey, wait a second... I thought Islam was the religion most associated with hijacking. Go back and check that with the Imam, Barack.

IMO, he's just the latest worthless opportunist. If the Democrat base were not so stupid, his blend of religious intolerance would not play out, but the broad majority of his votes will come from people who choose him simply because he's black, that being a result of either 1) white guilt or 2) black racism.

Well spoken to me means he communicates well. nothing more. However, I do appreciate that he doesn't do like every other black politician (including Hillary, to a degree) of the past 40 years and try to impersonate MLK's speech patterns, cadence, and timbre. Maybe it's simply because I am sick-to-damn-death of being hit over the head with White Guilt, but I just can't stand to listen to MLK's "I have a Dream" speech any more. For me, the left was turned it from something beautiful, to an instrument (nay, a weapon) of shame. And to hear carpetbaggers such as Hillary Clinton put on that completely fake "southern black" accent turns my stomach.

Everyone knows modern democrats hate religions that dare to make judgements about character! However, "anything goes" religions (or versions of Christianity which refuse to pass judgement on ill behaviour) are respected. Unitarian Universalist Church Of The Whatever gets support and praise. Anything goes. Inclusive. Etc. But Catholics are condemned because they take a stand and the Holy See sometimes reminds the church of its duty.
Islam, while three orders of magnitude more fundamentalist then even the most severe Appalacian-mountain snake-handling sects of Christianity is seen by Democrats as a Good Thing because it seeks to tear down America.
Again, white guilt is at the heart of Democrat politics. They don't believe in America, don't believe we deserve all this bounty, and seek to destroy it.

Hijacked? Like every Black candidate on the planet oraculates from the pulpits of "Black" churches and nobody dares mention separation of church and state, nor is the tax status of said Black churches threatened. So we have a Black Jesus who says vote for more welfare and indolence and a White Jesus who says to get off our asses and work. Which has been hi-jacked?

There is one subject that over time will be instrumental in dividing Christians apart and it is the one that I almost never broach among my friends of the faithful, and that is, the devisive question of whether Evolution or Creationism is fact.I see it as becoming such a rip in the fabric of the family of Christians, that I could believe the entire rumpus was fostered and festered by the Left. When I first started hearing of the arguments, I still considered myself a member of the group of religious believers, and was baffled, as I remembered as a small child being taught that Evolution and the Bible were not mutually exclusive. In late middle life I ceased being a member of organized religion, and that's certainly NOT to say,anti-religionist,but it's certainly pro science. I thoroughly regret that so many of my fellow citizens reject what I see as facts of Science and Evolution, but I do NOT dispute their right to do so. Unfortunately,I don't believe the harsh debate will harm Atheists but will rend apart the Christians as the school ciriculum issue heats up.What an unfortunate situation.Unfortunate in my view as it returns learning and reason back to the dark ages and gives some religionists the opportunity to think of OTHER religionists (and Atheists) as demons, devils, sinners, evildoers etc, instead of pointing their worry and disdain toward the group where it belongs, namely the Islamofacsists......As an Atheist, I don't consider myself an evil person, nor do I hate nor want to eliminate people of religion.Maybe my appreciation of right and wrong was drummed in back in my formative days of religious training or maybe, hopefully, humans have a sense of morality that is 'evolved' in,I only know that I personally regret seeing mankind take a setback in learning and progress over another devisive religious issue.I actually wish that ALL the religious people of ALL the religions of the world would remember and apply their own versions of 'The Golden Rule',as it's the best tenet for all as a social doctrine, aside from any religion.....I hope my mindset on this matter doesn't sour my online brothers and sisters toward me, as I hold them in high esteem and mean no disrespect....Maybe we can hold this discord in abeyance and pull in harness as a team to uproot the poisonous growths infecting our world...."We must all hang together, or we'll all hang separately"...Best Regards.
