Song Parodies

Introducing Stambo

At precisely the moment I was reading about yet another respected climatologist who says Al Gore is full of crap (while Gore is whining that the diversion away from the crisis caused by Paris Hilton's jailing may cost us our lives), Marc sent me a link to Stambo Songs. This guy is truly talented and his parody of "More" ("Gore") prompted me to set it to pictures. Hooray for us.

The UW-Madison professor emeritus, who stands against the scientific consensus on this issue, is referred to as a global warming skeptic. But he is not skeptical that global warming exists, he is just doubtful that humans are the cause of it.

There is no question the earth has been warming. It is coming out of the "Little Ice Age," he said in an interview this week.

The article you linked to gave equal time to both the scientist that disagreed with human caused global warming and the one that agreed with it. You never see a story that leads with agreement include a counterpoint from someone who disagrees.

This story originates in the liberal Mecca of the midwest ...and they do not call it Mad City without good cause.

The Cap Times is the official mouthpiece for the campus libs, so we cannot expect that the old prof would get away with expressing his well-considered opinion that is counter to the establishment.
