The U.S. should annex Canada and Mexico.
Let's start w/ Alberta.
Good idea Chuck. In fact maybe the U.S. should offer the entire west coast as a trade for Alberta... Just too bad I'm in Ontario. Or as I like to call it California of the north.
We'll trade you Vermont for Alberta. C'mon, you'll get Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. We'll take a bunch of greenhouse gas producing cows off your hands. Deal?
We already get Ben & Jerry's up here. And besides, if such a trade were to happen. I would be in Alberta very quickly.
I've always disagreed with the conventional perspective that Bush has failed to defend his decisions and that has led to the public not understanding why he's done what he's done. He's repeatedly defended and explained himself, but very few people watch the speeches. What they see is 1 minute of speech and 10 minutes of the media bashing every statement followed by weeks of MSM distortion and predictions of gloom and doom. Blogs haven't cowed the MSM, even with Rathergate, they are actually emboldened now that they know that if the preach the big lie long enough, even the right will surrender to the barrage.
I wonder why CNN is starting to discover this. What Socialist agenda do you suppose it is in counter to?
Woot, Rodg, need this one for the record:
"Just as he did with amnesty, Lou Dobbs has this one right too, IMO."
Noone, especially Lou Dobbs, has ever won by selling Bush short. We still got a year and a half, and own the presidency.
