+5 insightful!
Reminds me of the famous Ann Coulter quote: when asked by ABC's "The View" if she had ever seen two women having sex her response was, "Not since Katie Couric interviewed Hillary Clinton. That was the last time."
Well, if that was lesbian sex, this was an orgy. The candidates were "doing" the so-called journalists, and they were all screwing the general public.
I hope the GOP has the good sense to not attend this mockery of a debate format.

Has anyone else noticed that when you post, the page makes a connection to google-analytics.com?
huh?
Anonymous must have spyware.

When I simply load the web-page, it has always made a connection to google-analytics.com. It's not just the comments, but the page itself.... I'm using linux. No viruses, no spyware, no funny stuff. It's always the way it's been (since blogspot), hence "google/blogger". Not surprising that they track the "Hits" and "Comments".
Rodger, did you sign up for google analytics or is it on by default? It's a package that gives you (or someone?) information about who's visiting your site.
AKA web tracking and profiling system. Of course that sounds so ugly , let's just call it a "metrics" system.
There's a script in the comment window that links to google-analytics. View the page's source code (control-u in Firefox) and you'll see it, starting on line 79.
The main page has scripts that link to trackyourstats, labpixies, sitemeter, and gmodules (which is Google again)-- plus blogger, blogspot, and youtube, of course.
That's not unusual here in 2007. You don't have to run the scripts if you don't want, either-- except the blogger and blogspot ones. You need those to make the pages function and display properly.
I gave not signed up for Google analytics, but since Blogger is a Google property, and I have a Google password, I guess they can have their way with me (although I've never felt anything. :D).
