Melonhead

For thems what ain't got cable, The Colbert Show is part of  Comedy Central's Frick & Frack Hour.  Frick would be The Daily Show where John Stewart poses as is a smarmy liberal.  He is famously awed by of any liberal icon, and furrows his brow with conservative guests.  Colbert plays Hollywood's version of conservatives, red necked , bigoted, and stupid.  He is put down by brilliant leftists, and lays traps for conservatives.  Great fun for liberal America. Here's Colbert's interview with John Mellenamp.  It speaks for itself., which is to say it speaks to the liberal conceit, shallow as that is, that they have the answers.

Mellen-amp's head is mentally and physically too large for his body.

Or is that Melon-koph?

How about another? Watch as Bill Maher somehow manages to be wrong about everything, and his sycophantic audience swallows it whole.

Umm... "sycophantic" is close, but on second thought, it's not quite right. Is there a word for "eagerly gullible, with a touch of obsequiousness"?

I've seen John M in concert a number of times. Great show. I wish he'd stick to music.
