How soon they forget...

The rug is an Afghan product, made during the time when the mujahideen were on our side.

Notice the Soviet BMP on the left border?

Actually, it's not a prayer rug. It's a rug made to sell to the war tourists or those working with the Afghans in one project or another from one government or another.

I bought a half-dozen of them when I was there.
