I cannot believe Bush ever trusted that man. He may not have but he will be dogged by that comment the rest of his life and I believe a little unfairly. But he needs to take a much firmer hand with this commie dictator.

My earlier suggestion is that he shoot Putin and claim Russia as a US Territory. Still think it's a good idea.

Yesterday, while I was driving to church, I listened to an interview of Andrei Piontkovsky on NPR's Sunday Weekend Edition. He made a really good point in that rat-bastard Putin had, a month before, compared Bush's foreign policy to that of Hitler's. Andrei's suggestion was that George tell Vlad to kiss his azz.
