Is this galling, or what?

NOTICE OF COMMITTEE HEARING

The Senate Committee on the Judiciary has scheduled a "Hearing to Examine the Prosecution of Igancio Ramos and Jose Compean" for Tuesday July 17th, 2007 at 10:00am in Room 226 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building.

Senator Feinstein will preside.

By order of the Chairman.

AG Gonzalez should have stepped in before these two were railroaded, and Bush ought to have pardoned them the second they were convicted.  Now Democrats will, hopefully, shine so much light on this case that Bush will have to do the right thing.  That's my take.

Don't hold your breath....but I repeat myself.

Bush is bought and paid for by the corporate uber-cheap labor lobby. His christain convictions just don't measure up.

I don't agree with that assessment. I thing Bush is convinced that an American Union is necessary, and is arrogant enough to shove it down our throats. That's what I think.

I agree with Rodger. I also believe Bush is very wrong.

I'm outside of the conservative mainstream here, but I believe that they were justly convicted.

However, I think the sentence was too harsh. A commutation (a la Scooter Libby) would be the right thing to do.
