Thanks to knob licking carbuncles, aka the Maryland legislature, wine may not be sent to "little Massachusetts," as we are often referred to. Or to the real one, for that matter.

Has something changed?
I had wine shipped from Oregon (Velvet Ass Rosé) and the winery could ship to MD but not VA. -

If taxation and sale to minors, among other anal retentives, are being met, what's the deal??? I am often naive regarding big bro's thinking? eh, wot? Do those prohibitive states have so many fragile wineries of their own being diluted?

Juice, taxation is the problem... at least in Montgomery County. ALL wine, beer and liquor sales must go through the county, and stores can only carry those items that the county's distribution center bother to stock.
So far as I know we're the only county in the nation to have such an absurd and archaic system.

Reminds me of Twain's definition of a lighthouse; "A building by the shore, with a light in it, and a politician's friend.
