One of the latest initiatives: Cool Change, Fox's company-wide program to reduce the network's impact on global warming. I think history will look back on this Global Warming nonsense in the same way as we view the mass hysteria which led to the Salem witch trials. We're simply too close to the historical context to see it.

Think about it, we already laugh at the "population bomb" idiots from the 60s, the "global cooling/Coming Ice Age" prophets of the 70s, and the Silent Spring foolishness of the DDT haters.

There is hope.

A hole in your observation may be that the nation as a whole back then had not yet been brainwashed by government schools, nor was the media so totally dominated by today's leftist nincompoops. But I hope you are right. Lord, do I ever.

Expect more of this kind of crap.

Leftist twinkies cannot write anything any sane person will watch.

So they wait until a normal person writes something successful, and then use their political pull to take it over. They turn it into crap, and the series dies due to bad ratings.

Wash, rinse, and repeat.

This will continue until the people that front the money for this get a clue, and shoot any socialist who tries to get onto the studio grounds.
